Name: Garnet Lace. Her original name was Eleanor.

Sex: Female.

Age: Young compared to the Girls, probably around 16.

Appearance: Brown eyes, pale skin that just slightly too dark to be full gadje, long dark brown hair. She's probably about 5'6. Unlike her pixie-ish sister, she's got more muscle tone and a stronger body type. Because they run a fabrics shop, she dresses in decadent colors and styles, though hers are usually in deep reds (hence her name), golds, and purples. She accessorizes with little red (fake) jewels embedded in her clothing and dangling on chains and bracelets.

Education: Educated as a French aristocrat. Learned sewing skills from her mother.

Occupation: Runs a fabrics and sewing shop with her sister, Diamond. When the sisters and their mother were thrown out (see below), their mother set them up in a sewing shop -- mostly to get them out of her way so she could work on rebuilding her reputation.

Ethnicity: Of mixed blood. Her mother was a French aristocrat, her father was Romani. Her mother managed to hide her infidelity since her Romani lover looked a great deal like her husband. However, the truth erupted in a fight one night and the sisters were thrown out of the house with their mother.

Marital status: Not important.

Children: Not important.

Significant relationships: Her sister. She is also good friends with Aiden and Sapphire.

Obsessions: Beautiful fabric.

Beliefs: Not important.

Sexual history: Not important.

Religion: Raised as a Christian, but loses a lot of her religious ideals when she's thrown out of her home.

Fears: Being poor.

Habits: Playing with her bangles and dress.

Personality flaws: Not a very good business-woman. Probably doesn't make enough to keep the shop running. However, her mother keeps sending money to fund the business, so it all works out.

Personality strengths: Cheerful, resilient.

Favorite possession: Her sister and her shop.

Where does this character live: Paris.

What does this character want: Not important.

Why does this character want this: Not important.

What happens as a results of this desire: Not important.

Additional notes: Diamond Velvet and Garnet Lace aren't exactly important to the stories. They were created so Aiden had friends in the sewing business she could go to for cheap supplies, and also so that Sapphire had someone to relate to, since Diamond and Garnet are also of mixed blood. Diamond and Garnet probably get married and have kids later on, but their offspring do not appear in later arcs. They're specifically created for First Generation.
