It's been another week in the life of Sally... and yeah... she went to Preston for the weekend to help Lee celebrate his birthday...

i caught the train up there... and now, never again, will i catch a bus anywhere that takes more than 2 hours....

lots of fun was had by me (and that's all that counts, really).... and I also managed to stay on my feet at all times... (except when i was sitting and/or sleeping).... although i do regret the volume of red bull and red bull-esque drinks that i consumed.... i would have preffered to sleep for more than 3 hours over the two nights that i ingested them.
�I managed to avoid watching too much football, which was quite relaxing.

There's not much else to say about the weekend i guess. But I am starting to feel more comfy up there than I am in Brighton.... I think it's because of the people (and you'd know if you had ever been to Preston... no offence - tee hee) not because of the location.

Brighton is very pretty, but the people (well the people i work with, anyway, are quite rude).... Yesterday, Chris (one of the guys i live with) said 'hello' to the next door neighbours and they just looked at him like he was an idiot.... this is the general theme i have noticed in this country.
Well... work is still going strong... as much as i am enjoying knowing that i am making money... i wish that i actually had time to spend some of it. I'm heading back up north in a couple of weeks for some more drinking fun. I'm also going to harass a cousin of mine who lives in Nottingham at some point. But then, i'm stumped... i really dont know where i should head. Any ideas?
That's about it really... everything else i could say would be me whinging about one thing or another.
I'm off home now. Going to the pub tonight with a guy from work. Should be fun. Then i have to work tomorrow and Sunday... blah....
