| Subject: Its just not fair How does the rain know when I don't have my umbrella with me? I'm all soggy now! I guess i should give you all an update.... whether you like it or not really. Still feeling a bit sicky. Plus there seems to be a flu going around which I have happened to catch also. Blah. I'm assuming i'm allowed to tell people now... considering i've had the letter sent to me. In the near future I will be heading to Paris for three months to do some stuff for Sydney Water. Should be interesting, to say the least. Don't worry, I've been taught how to say 'I love ham'... so there's no danger of me being strapped for things to say to those crazy french people. Well! Hopefully I should be out of Brighton by mid-November... although it means i wouldn't be home for christmas which would big a big suckola... because christmas without my mummy and nanna and grandpa wont be the same (although I can handlegoing without mum's cooking - tee hee)... Before I leave England though... i want to see a bit more of it... as well as go back and visit Cormac properly this time.... i'm sure he will be jumping out of his skin to hear this news!.... I also don't know whether to go back and have a better look around Edinburgh... who knows? depends how much time and cashola I have when the time comes. Not really got much else to say. Trying not to drink as much with the aim to make myself better. But the weekend will soon change that. With mycousin Jo's birthday, and friend from Preston coming down to visit... i'm sure i'll be having a drink or 7. I had something else to say but i forget. Ooh yes... i discovered the English equivalent of chicken schnitzels... let's just say that i am less than impressed. Also...vegetables go off so quickly! and bread and cheese never go mouldy!.... very curious indeed. Tis getting super cold here now (don't you argue with me).... i've been wearing about 4 layers everyday and still freezing my bottoms off. I dont know how i am going to handle it when it gets colder. I still dont understand how people go out in winter (at night i mean)... where do they stash the thousands of layersof extraclothes they are forced to wear? Also another thing i have grasped yet is when people greet you by saying 'alright'.... what do they mean? ... Is it 'hello'?... or is it 'are you alright'?... or is it something completely different. That's about it for me. Please post me a chicken schnitzel. talk to ya soon! Sal |
