This album is ineffably beautiful. Jaime Hutchings has the unique ability that most songwriters strive for but never reach; he melds his lyrics like poetry, with a breathtaking elegance that leaves you mesmerized and yearning for more. That’s not to say that all the songs are slow; the ‘kiss rock out with the best of them ? Highlights include the melancholy ‘maps to help you lose your way’, ‘give up the ghost’, and the new single ‘girl genius’. This album showcases the incredible amount of talent this band possesses.
