Well... just popped into a nerd cafe in Edinburgh while I wait for the rain to stop so I can head to the pub.
Thought i'd attempt to write that email that died last time.
Well... been in Scotland since last friday afternoon... mainly in Glasgow but spent today and tonight in Edinburgh... Edinburgh seems much prettier and more busy that Glasgow, but it has for too many Americans for my liking.
Went to a decent club on Friday night.... was exactly the same music as at Loaded but it was drifferent as it was far less seedy and the guys there were filthy backpackers trying to get into your pants... handy!
Spent the rest of the time in Scotland either looking in shops, looking at old buildings and in museums or just sitting and drinking.... i dont know if it's just me, but i kinda find it hard to talk to people here... whether it's because they cant understand me... or whether it's because they just dont want to talk to me and find it much more humourous to look at me like i'm an idiot.,... oh well
Heading back to London tomorrow... got my cousin freaking out because there is meant to be a strike on the tube that would be getting us back from Heathrow.... i'll have to call him tonight so he doesnt explode
Spoke to Cormac today and heading to Dublin sometime next week depending on when i'll be working... fingers crossed that I can spend a while longer there than just the weekend....
going to start making a point of avoiding deep fried food... i realise this might be a bit of a challenge... but i think it's starting to make me sick
oh well... i had best be off
things are going ok, i cant really complain.... (i can, but i wont)
