Holy fucking death metal. I must admit that i have never heard Parasitic before they sent me a copy of this demo, and i was blown away when i listened to it. I keep asking myself "How could i have never heard this brutal fucking band before?" Oh well, i have heard them now and i love it! Straight-up old school style death metal which is most likely influenced by bands such as Suffocation, Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal. This demo delivers top-notch production and 3 of the most brutal songs i have ever heard. Combining brutal riffs, killer gut-twisting vocals and some of the most amazing drum work i have ever heard, "Born Of Decay" is definately one of the top recordings i have heard this year. Parasitic are the future of death metal! If you have not heard them yet, i suggest getting of your ass right now and check them out. Are there plans for a full-length Parasitic album you ask? Let's fucking hope so! As my good friend Robert Atkinson (ex-Infested Corpse) said, "This band belongs on Unique Leader. They are U.L. material." I agree, they do remind me of a few Unique Leader bands. Shit, any label would be lucky to have Parasitic on their roster.
