This Illinois-based goregrind band are all about one thing: KILLING!!! With this being their debut album, Morbid Butcher prove that they are worthy of being in the extreme metal scene in the Chicago area. The powerful guttural vocals of SS BUTCHER mixed with the crunchy riffs of DR. GORE are perfect. Drummer, HITMAN and bassist, HACKSAW, deliver a brutal sonic attack from hell to make "Butcher Shop Horror" a cd that all goregrinders need to pick up. Altough all of the songs on this album are incredibly heavy and fast, track 3 "Total Fucking Doom," is the heaviest song i have ever heard from any band. Let's not forget about other classic tracks on here such as "Mutilated Corpse Feast," "Splatterhouse" and "Hacked Into Shit." Morbid Butcher is heavily influenced by bands like Mortician, Gorgasm, Incantation, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Prosthetic Cunt. The vocals and lyrics are inspired by horror movies, serial killers and Will Rahmer of Mortician. In fact, SS BUTCHER once told me that "if it wasn't for Will Rahmer i never would have started this band. I'm not a fag who wants to suck his cock or no shit like that, but i'm a huge fan and he has been a gigantic inspiration to me." Morbid Butcher are currently in the studio puttint the final touches on their sophmore effort, so check it out. The album will be out on July 24th.
