Although there are only 2 tracks on this demo, Absent Of's "Assembly Line Suicide" is a great listen for fans of all metal genres. The combine industrial, nu-metal, thrash and elements of other styles as well. Justin Petersen, although gay (just kidding dude!!), can deliver somemean guitar riffs, which sound amazing with the rest of Absent Of's brutal assault. Vocalist, Jaybird, belts some some killer hardcore screams, but also can throw down some great clean emotional vocals as well. Absent Of is longer together, but while they were a band they reigned all over the twin ports metal scene. They prove that there can be some kick ass music to come out of smaller towns that nobody ever pays attention to.
