| When I went back to my palace I found a note attached to my door. hey Phaedra come meet me by the palace garden at 10 -julian Hmm�he has nice handwriting� was the first thing that came to mind. :Yeah, he kinda does!: said Flametail, mockingly. Stupid, go away. :No! I like making fun of you. You are IN LOVE with him, aren�t you!: I sighed. I don�t know, how about you last night with that other vixen! You�ve been cheating on your girlfriend! I retorted sarcastically. He didn�t have a girlfriend and he knew it. He was just jealous. :Yeah, I wish!: Anyway, I am not going to go to the garden! I laughed. I am going to try playing hard to get� The next morning at breakfast I noticed Julian was early. He usually comes at least ten minutes late�I thought to myself. He was sitting right next to the place I usually sit. But now where is Ulani going to sit? She usually comes at least fifteen minutes late and sits by me; where Julian was now sitting. My heart skipped a beat. I sat down next to him. Levinia was across from us. �Ohh Fae! What a good morning it is for you!� �Shut up Levinia!� Julian said before I could say anything. �Someone is a little touchy this morning!� she replied. Julian ignored her. �So�you didn�t meet me at the garden last night�� he said quietly. �I know�I was a little tired,� I said, yawning. �Will you come with me after breakfast this morning?� Instead of butterflies in my stomach, there were frogs doing back flips. I knew my playing hard to get was not going to last very long. �Um�sure,� I said. I couldn�t resist saying yes. �But to keep from my stupid embarrassing friends, lets split up and meet there.� �Okay.� After breakfast I got up and started for the garden. Levinia quickly followed. �What were you two whispering about at the breakfast table?� she asked slyly. �how stupid you are,� I replied. She laughed. �how nice!� �now would you kindly leave me alone,� �Why should I?� �Levinia! Come see what Drew is doing!� Elyse shouted from the end of the hallway. �OOH!� she giggled as she followed Elyse back to the breakfast table. Phew! I sighed. How on earth would I be able to get rid of her? So I started for the garden. Julian and I met at the front entryway. �Hi�� he said shyly. �Hi�� I said. We walked down the long pathway into the rose garden. �Don�t you think this is kind of a corny place to be?� I said. �Well,� he said. �Yeah�� �Uhm�� He mumbled. �Lets go sit down.� We sat on the bench. �Why are we here? Is there something you needed to say to me?� I said. �Fae, I uh�.� he leaned closer to me and our lips were like a centimeter away and then �Hi guys! Whatcha doing?� Levinia was standing in the entryway of the rose garden. �Sh**�� I said quietly. �Uhh, Julian just wanted to show me this�uhhh�really strange looking flower see?� I picked a flower off of the rose bush next to me. �Yeah, see it uh�.� �Doesn�t look so strange to me!� Levinia said, with a strange look on her face. �I looked all over for you guys! What were you really doing?� It seemed that she knew what we were doing all along and WANTED to screw my life. �Well, you see, its like this�.� Julian muttered. REAL helpful. �We were continuing our discussion about how stupid you are.� �Ohh in a rose garden huh?� �YES we thought we could have a little time to OURSELVES.� Julian said. OHH great. �Time to yourselves?� Levinia giggled. �Well, anyway, we were just going to have a little party type thing out in the yard and you have to be there.� �We HAVE to be there huh?� I said getting up. �Ok lets go then,� Julian said, looking rejected. We followed Levinia to the back patio. While the music blasted and the baseball game commenced, Julian and I didn�t even look at each other. Until truth or dare. �Truth,� Elyse said. �Uhm ok�� It was Heather�s turn to ask. �Which one of these guys here would you kiss?� Adrian looked VERY hopeful. Elyse rolled her eyes. �Levinia you know perfectly well that I cant answer that question!� �Then let Adrian answer for you!� Estelle laughed. �ME!� What a dork. We all fell over laughing. �Well, I guess�� Elyse said, rolling her eyes again. �YES!� Ok now it was Elyse�s turn to ask. Levinia whispered something into her ear. She laughed. �Truth or dare, Fae!� �Truth,� I said. �What were you REALLY doing in the rose garden?� Elyse giggled. �What rose garden?�� Julian said. �I found you two doing something in the rose garden!� Levinia said.� �We were never in there!� I said. �YES YOU WERE!� �No we weren�t!� Julian said, glancing at me. �I was in my room for a while unpacking the rest of my stuff and �� �I was in my palace�� �YEAH RIGHT I SAW YOU IN THERE!� Levinia yelled. �No you didn�t! you must be seeing things,� Julian said. We glanced at each other, smiling. �Ugh!!!! Fine! You know what? I don�t care!� Levinia said angrily. �Fine; I will ask another question. Which of these guys would you make out with?� �Everybody knows the answer to that question,� I replied, looking at Julian. �uh!� Levinia looked upset. After a few more questions, it was time for dinner. Julian and I made a SECRET agreement to meet in the woods behind the palace at 9:00� �Anyway,� He said when we got there. We found a nice little clearing in the woods where we could sit on pretty soft grass and there were hardly any bugs. �Where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?� I leaned close to him. �About here.� �Ok,� He pulled me close and we kissed. WOAH! I thought. MY FIRST KISS! This is pretty long� �Hey!� I said, pulling him away. �Get your hand out of my shirt!� �Sorry!� Julian said. �I�� �That�s okay just don�t do that again�yet�� We continued kissing for a while. �I�ve never done that before.� I said. �Done what?� �That�� I said, referring to kissing. �Really? I thought surely you would have back in the third realm.� �Nah! You kidding? I was a nerd! A GEEK!� �I don�t believe that�� �Well, believe what you want, but I�ve never had a even had a boyfriend before.� �Hey, you do now,� he said, kissing me again. �Why do you like me anyway?� I said when he was done. �Oh I dunno,� he replied. He looked down. �Ohh kaay,� I said. I wondered why he didn�t know. �I wish we would have had telepathy back there,� he turned to me. �The truth or dare thing, I mean.� �Yeah,� I laughed. �that would have been helpful.� �So what part of the third realm are you from?� �Earth, duh.� �Well, yeah, but like, what part of Earth?� �America. Its in the--� �Northwest hemisphere. North America. What state are you from?� Wow, I thought. How does he know all this stuff? Most people in this realm don�t know anything about the third realm� �Uhh� Minnesota�� �Ohh.� He said. �Most people here don�t know anything about the third realm.� �I swear that�s what I was just thinking!� �I studied it for a while in class. It�s very interesting�hey can you speak some of your language for me?� �English? But�� all this time I thought we were speaking English. �But what?� he said. �don�t you speak English?� �Yeah, but, it�s hard to explain. See, this language has become English for me�kinda.� �Ohh I get it. When you entered this realm your language converted. You probably think we are speaking English.� �Anyway�� I said, embarrassed. �Hey, do you want to see my palace? Maybe you can stay there for the rest of your visit!� He looked at me like I was drunk. �You have a guest room right?� �OH! Oh oh yeah. Don�t worry.� �Ok yeah it would be great.� We got up and headed towards the palace. He put his arm around my waist and I put mine around his shoulder� �Where were you guys?� Levinia asked when we got in the palace. �It�s like, eleven!� �We were just uhhh�� Julian started �NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUISSINESS!� �Woah!� Levinia laughed. �Someone is a little crabby tonight! I�d thought with the amount of time you two had alone together you would be happy�� �Yeah,� said Julian. I gave him a strict look. �Shut up! You just GAVE everything AWAY!� �So?� he said. He then did something I hoped wouldn�t happen in front of everyone. He kissed me. �OOH!� Levinia squealed. �Elyse! COME LOOK!� Elyse ran down the hallway while we were kissing. This has got to be one of the most humiliating things EVER. I could feel his hand slide up my shirt again. Elyse and Levinia giggled. I shoved Julian away. �I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT!� �He�s tried allready?� Elyse laughed. �AUGH!!!� �Ohh�so that�s what you were doing�� Levinia put her hand to her mouth and laughed. �Where?� �I sat down in the corner of the hallway and buried my face into my hands while Julian explained where we were. He is such an idiot. �We were in this little clearing in the woods.� �HEY! That�s where Liam and I go!� Levinia said. �You mean that little grassy spot in the woods?� Elyse said. �I know that place!� �Elyse!� Levinia said. �I�m shocked!� �Come on Fae, its not that bad�� I could hear Liam coming down the hallway. �Yeah RIGHT! He just tongued me right in front of everyone!� �So?� He walked over to Levinia and did the same. Then Adrian, Estelle, and Lance came down the hallway. After a few minutes we were all talking and laughing and making out in front of everyone. �I think we should go to the woods tonight! We could make a fire pit there!� I said. �Yes! We can call it Make-out Clearing!!� Lance said, still holding Estelle. �Lets go!� Adrian said, pulling Elyse along. So we went to our make out clearing and the guys picked up some rocks and sand for our fire pit. We got some wood and I lit a fire. It was allmost midnight. Around the fire we just talked and laughed and guess what. �Sooo�� Estelle said after a long moment of silence and staring at the fire. �Woah!� Julian said. �Did you hear that?� �What! Oh god you scared me! What?!� I said. �I just heard this screeching screaming noise!� In the corner of my eye I could see the rest of the �couples� hee hee move closer together. �There! Can you hear it?� We listened closely. There was a screeching noise coming from somewhere in the direction of the ocean I thought. �Maybe its just an owl,� Estelle said. �Whats an owl?� lance said. �Oh that�s right. There are no owls here�� Estelle trailed off. �Well, what in the thirteenth realm is that?� Liam said. �You mean WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?� Levinia said. �Uhh�yeah�� It did it again, only louder. �ITS COMING CLOSER!� Elyse yelled and huddled closer to Adrian. �I am going to investigate!� Julian said in a sort of cheesy-bravish voice. �Ha! I�ll give you thirty seconds and I bet you�ll come running!� I laughed. �Nuh uh! I�m a Hero remember?� �Har har.� �I�ll go with him,� said Liam, getting up. �Noo!� screamed Levinia. �You have to stay here with me!� �I�ll come too!� said Lance. �Yeah you come! You�re huge!� Said Julian. We agreed. Lance was 6�5� a full four inches taller then Estelle. �Then I guess I have to stay here with the girls�� Adrian said. �As if!� Elyse yelled. �We should probably be the ones going to investigate! We are the pixies, remember?� �What�s the matter,� Levinia smirked. �Don�t you want him to stay?� Elyse spread a thin smile, lowering her eyebrows. �You�re just jealous.� �I dunno, its probably nothing. Plus, if poor little Adrian wants to stay and hide with the rest of us, I think we should let him.� I said, smiling. �Ha ha. Very smart.� Said Adrian sarcastically. �Hey,� I said. �Its kinda dark�need a light?� �Yeah, make a torch or something.� So I made a torch and handed it to Julian. They trudged off in the woods, leaving Levinia, Estelle, Elyse, Adrian and me by the fire. �I wonder what that was?� Adrian said. �Well, its probably some big bird type thingy,� Elyse said. After about five minutes of silence, Julian, Lance, and Liam came back. But there was one more person with them. �Guys, it was just Tristan.� Julian sighed. �Who the hell is Tristan?� Levinia said. �Just a friend. He was bored back at the island so he decided to look around. He �saw� us having the bonfire so he asked his dad if he could leave for a while.� �I�m a distant prophet.� Tristan said strangely. �Oohh fancy,� I said. �What is that anyways?� �I can see.� �Duh!!!� said Elyse. �Ok. I�m guessing you can see stuff that is really far away.� �Yup.� �Oh ok then�� �So how didja get here?� I asked. �I took my dad�s boat. It was screeching against the rocks when I tied it up.� �OHH so that�s what we heard.� Levinia said. �So where�s he gonna stay?� Liam asked. �There are plenty of guest rooms in the palace,� I said. �The queen won�t mind.� After a few hours of talking around the fire, we decided to go back to the palace. We showed Tristan to his room and off we went to our palaces. I went with Julian to his room in my palace. It was 3:30 in the morning. I sat down on the bed. �well that was interesting wasn�t it? Makeout clearing hahaha� �Yeah, that IS a nice little clearing isnt it?� he said, sitting down next to me. �Well, I�ll see you in the morning.� �Wait!� He said, pulling me down as I tried to get up. He kissed me deeply, gently laying my head on the pillow as we kissed. It was all very much like in the movies, you know, cheesy romance. Then I pushed him upward. I didn�t want to get too far� �Goodnight!� I said, smiling. I got up and stood by the door. �Goodnight.� I went back up to my palace, and fell dead asleep. Later �God, I�m so sorry Julian�� I said as I kneeled by the healing bed. �Well for the love of god why did you DO that?� I blurted everything out in one breath. �Well, back on the third realm there was this SICKO PERV that I HATED a LOT. He harassed Jenelle and Elyse and i. Mostly poor Elyse�well anyway one day he did what you did to me, you know, squeezed my waist. The stupid coward ran away before I could do anything. But anyway I sorta vowed that the next time someone DID that to me I would hurt him. Really bad.� �Well, I know the HURTING part is true,� he squeaked. �Oh shut up. I just don�t LIKE being touched like that.� �Wellll SOR-RY! Its not like I was fore-warned!� �Oh forget about it.� I turned to the healer. �How is he gonna be? Is he al right?� The healer laughed. �Yeah, he�s fine�he just wont be able to�umm how to put this�he�s a little impotent at the moment�� I tried not to laugh. The healer laughed and turned away. �Soo�you wanted to see me?� �Yeah but you already answered my question.� �Okay so I gotta go now, they are trying to reach Levinia and Drew.� �Fine.� He squealed. Later �So Julian��Estelle started at the dinner table. �How�s the um�Package?� Everybody laughed. We were trying to get in good spirits because Drew and Levinia and liam were still in the hospital wing. Julian glared at her. �Don�t tell her-anybody what I am unable to do,� he whispered to me. �Don�t worry.� �I�m just fine thank you,� he said. �As long as you don�t tell Drew what I did to you,� I whispered to him. �Deal�� �What are you whispering about?� Tristan laughed. �Some other thing to do tonight?� �Noooo�� I said. That was not funny. Everyone was laughing but that was not funny. �Okay everybody stop about my um�� Julian started. By then everyone was in hysterics. (Except for Adrian�he was still crazy.) |
