| As you can see from my backround, i like the Matt Good Band. Reasons are they dont play that pop bull shit, they write their own music and they are from CANADA! There first released CD (Last of the Ghetto Astronauts) was individual and sold 20,000 copies setting a new canadian record featuring symbolistic white wals and haven't slept in years. Ther next CD Raygun featured raygun and once again haven't slept in years. After that came out Underdogs, this was a great cd featuring deep six, everything is automatic, apparitions, middle class gansters & rico. They next released a 3-song cd called Lo-Fi B-Sides with symbolistic white walls being the top hit. Then beautiful midnight was by far their best cd and was critically aclaimed with hits such as hello time bomb, load me up, a boy and his machine gun, giant & the future is x-rated. Audio of being was there last cd released and it features carmelina, advertising on police cars & anti-pop. its really too bad that this great band had to break up in november, but matt good and the bassist are still working together. |
