| Possible Causes of Paranormal Activity Camera Malfunctions Many opponents of paranormal investigation claim that simple camera malfunctions may cause pictures to develop distortedly. While this very well could happen, some pictures are taken under perfect and still show evidence of paranormality. Do not jump to conclusions, however; be sure a picture was taken under perfect conditions before assuming it is evidence of paranormal activity. One may want to take several pictures to be sure. Optical Illusions In the cases of roads that are said to have an unknown force pushing a car up a hill, the force may actually be gravity. Depending upon certain variables--location, light, depressions in the road, and coloring--the perceived pushing of a car could be just that--a perception. Be especially war of the sites that require a drive to either turn the car off or place it in neutral for everything to "work." Telekinesis/Psychokinesis Telekinesis, also known as psychokinesis, is the ability to move objects with one's own mind. The conception was thought to be little more than science fiction until a Princeton University study revealed that humans "demonstrate an extremely minute, but statistically measurable, ability of the mind to skew the output of electronic number generators and other devices," thus proving that telekinesis exists. Many claim that ghosts follow them around and other claim to experience problems due to the presence of poltergeist. The people may actually have telekinetic abilities higher than most, and may thus unwittingly cause objects to follow them. Since their ability is unknown to them, they then chose to explain the activity with someone more familiar--ghosts. |
