Wow, I didn't know there was life after 'Neon Ballroom.' 'Diorama' is the greatest album of the year, shockingly bold, but with the right mix of vocals, to make sweet, not sappy, kick-ass rock and roll. Starting with 'Across The Night,'silverchair's Daniel Johns takes you for a ride (oh, but it's a good one). Maybe I'm just weird (and there's no doubt that I am), but I had to listen to 'Across The Night' over and over and over. Call me crazy, but I think they've got something here. The album is so much like the soundtrack to a musical. It's not just beautiful, but visual. It tells a story. The story of how I'm going to be fired!!!! The point is, I thought 'Across The Night' was the best song, and then I heard 'The Greatest View.' Awwww... I love this album. 'The Greatest View' is a kick-ass rock song. Not like those crappy Nickleback or Linkin Park songs. I almost cried. (Maybe I should get some therapy. Hmmm...) Highlights of the album: Across the Night The Greatest View Luv Your Life The Lever
I love 'The Lever.' It's so great. It has potential to be the basis of my first slasher film.... Daniel, we'll be in touch! |
