A little about us , we where both born in Northern Ireland. After travelling worldwide we returned to Belfast with our family and settled here. I am retired now but Gerry still works we still enjoying travel, albeit only on holiday now. The most naturally beautiful place we have found is still our favourite:- Barbados
About Barbados Barbados is14 miles wide by 21 miles long, its the eastermost Caribbean Island. Unlike the volcanic neighbours, Barbados is a limestone island and is the only coral island in the region with all white sand beaches. It offers a wide range of activities to suit all, you can enjoy calm swimming in the crystal clear waters, take part in water sports such as, windsurfing, jet skiing, diving. Play a round of golf at one of the golf courses. Take an island tour , the cave are something not to be missed and the Flower Gardens are also a most for horticulture minded, go on a submarine ride, or enjoy a helicopter tour of the island. there are many fine restaurants. If you are down "The Gap" around lunchtime look up my good friend Leroy and try a delicious meal served from his mobile Cafe. Tell him you read it here and a discount will be offered. Just being there is such fun! Its sunny and warm all year round average daytime of 75-85%f . Have fun !! |
