COSTUME IDEAS!
Are
you going to (or hosting) a Halloween party tomorrow, but you still have no
idea what you are going to wear? Well guess what? You can wip up these costumes
in no time!
Mix & Match
This
costume is perfect if you save all your old childhood costumes! Say you were a
princess, monster, cowboy, and celebrity for different Halloweens. Well, just
mix & match different parts of each costume together to become the Ghost of
Halloween past!
Beer Babe
This
costume is bound to make people laugh! Dress all in brown clothes that are the
color of beer (or wine). Then, make yourself a bottle cap hat by decorating a
margarine container like a beer cap. Attach a string to secure the cap to your
head. Now, all you have to do is find big sheets of construction paper to make
a beer label you can wrap around your stomach (or just tape on the front)!
Blast from The Past
Remember
what you looked like and how you dressed 10 years ago? If not just look in some
family albums! Try to find clothes and hair clips like the ones you used to
wear, and imitate your younger self! Style your hair like it was (or use a
wig), and carry around a toy you used to love!
Candy Corn
You
know those yummy candies that are orange and black? Why not dress like one?
Gather up a black t-shirt and skirt, and find some black and/or orange tights. Then
buy some orange hair spray and a bag of candy corn at a dollar store. Color
your hair, put on your costume, and glue some candy corn to your t-shirt, done.
Comic Book Hero
Who
is your favorite comic book character? If you love action heroes, why not dress
like one? They usually wear bright colored clothes, and have prominent facial
expressions. Use face paints to color big angry looking eyebrows, of huge pouty
lips! You could also make signs that say POW or SMASH, and then staple them to
cheap gloves and punch the air!
Monotone
Pick
a really bright color (orange, pink, yellow) and dress in it from head to toe!
Just ask your friends for yellow clothing (for example), and gather up all the
pieces to make your costume. You can even paint the skin that shows that color,
and put identical hair spray in your hair.
