| Alpine Novelists |
| The Alpine Novelists were one of the founding members of the league in 1990. Since inception, they have been owned by David A. Kilman. The early years brought mixed results for the Novelists, but from 1994 to 1998 they were the most consistent team in the league, winning three championships and tying for first place in the other two years. In 1999 the franchise suffered its first losing season in head to head competition. The Novelists led the league in scoring in 2000 & 2003, but have not won the championship since 1998.
