New Manager Rumours? Irish football website, Soccer Central, recently announced that former Bohemians manager Pete Mahon had turned down the vacant managerial position at Kildare County. The full story can be found here. However, it has emerged that Mahon was not offered the job, and many County supporters feel that this is a ploy by Belgrove manager Mahon to acknowledge his interest in the job. The Kildare County Board have come out publicly and confirmed that Mahon was not offered the job, but they do have many candidates for it. Veteran forward John Ryan is the current caretaker manager until a full-time manager is appointed. Also, County fans have proposed some candidates they think should be in the running for the job. (Take this with a pinch of salt, as it is only fan speculation)
