-Dermot Keely was fined €50 for being dismissed from the dugout in the 2-1 loss to Limerick on June 12th. Limerick assistant manager Derek Whyte, and Athlone Town manager Jimmy Greene were also given similar fines.

-Kildare were linked with St. Patrick's Athletic former Irish underage international defender Ryan Casey. Casey has only been with Pat's for nine months after signing from Swansea last year. Casey was in the side this season up until an injury ruled him out and he was replaced by Frenchman Karim el-Khebyr. Longford Town have also been linked with the player.
