MATCH REPORT

DUNDALK 0-0 KILDARE COUNTY

Kildare moved up one position after tonight's match, but with Limerick and Dublin still to play this weekend, County could be in 5th come Sunday.

If it wasn't for the acrobatics and excellent saves from Dundalk keeper Anthony Fennelly, County may have been back in Pole Position.

In the 35th minute, Philip Gorman's shot was saved by Fennelly's legs. Fennelly again came to the rescue when he palmed away Zellor's shot from distance.

It was to be Fennelly's night, and nothing would go past him, as Shay Zeller again found out in the 59th minute when he made another excellent save.

Dundalk still haven't got a win this season, but their sixth draw means they stay above Monaghan in the table. Kildare move up to third, but only temporarily.

Hopefully in next Saturday's game against Cobh, they can get back to winning ways.
