Dogstar is the name of a band that Keanu Reeves is in. A real band too. Isn't that cool? He plays bass for them. Keanu sure is very multi-talented. I have heard some Dogstar music clips over the web, and they sound really good. When I have some money, I'm going to buy their stuff. Read on to find out more about Dogstar.

Dogstar was formed in Los Angeles, California, and it's members include Bret Domrose (singer, guitarist), Rob Mailhouse (drummer) and Keanu Reeves (bass). Originally a quartet (Greeg Miller, a second guitarist, left over musical differences), the trio Dogstar formed in 1993. In 1994 they embarked on a sold out national tour before even signing a record contract. A contract was subsequently negotiated with Zoo Records. They recorded four songs with Pearl Jam producer Rick Parashar for Quattro Formaggi EP, which was followed by their debut album release. Producer Ed Stasium oversaw Our Little Visionary, which Billboard magazine described as "a cohesive package of nicely ragged, tuneful guitar rock." Beside's the cover version of Badfinger's "No Matter What", the contents of Dogstar's debut album were all group originals.
