| I've been interested in Sappho for quite some time, and becuase I believe she is an integral part of world culture, I decided to dedicate a page to her. On it will be biographical information (as accurate as is possible) and translated sections of her poetry. Sadly, only a small portion of her work has survived and much of it in miniscule fragments only. A sad legacy to a woman who was once the most sought out and revered lyricist in the world. -Kikoughela |
