As the group entered the chief's office, they noticed another familiar face.
Eric: "Dale?"
The person turned towards Eric and smiled.
Dale: "Yeah, it's me."
Eric: "I thought you left for a vacation?"
Dale: "I was but the chief called me in."
The group was interupted by the chief.
Chief: "Listen, all of you. I have a special assignment for you all."
The group grew quiet and turned there attention to the chief.
Chief: "Have you heard about the murders in the nearby city of Norwark?"
The group grew tense.
Eric: "I believe we all have, it has been all over the news."
Chief: "We then. I want you all to investigate this matter."
Eric: "What? But we don't have a full team. I mean, look it is only Emily, Lauren, Youri, Dale and myself. How can you expect us to go in without a captain?"
Chief: "You act like this is a suicide mission or somethin. All I ask of you is to go and investigate these killings in the area."
Eric: "isn't the area blocked off to civilians? Doesn't that mean something? I say we let the F.B.I. handle this. I mean, from the way it looks, we are dealing with a group of about 30 to 60 cannibals. Do you really want us to get killed?"
Eric grew angry. The Chief leaned back in his chair. He pulled a file out of his desk.
Chief: "Here, sign this. As of now you are the official team leader for this mission."
Eric was shocked at the revelation.
Eric: "What happened to John? He was our team leader for most of our missions."
Chief: "I sent him in with a team two days ago and I haven't got any word from them."
