New Romance for Jamal? - (Soaps in Depth)
Port Charles' Marissa may have come to town for a scoop, but she's learning something about herself in the process. This week, the reporter asks questions about her look-alike and discovers the reason she and her late twin had only their resemblance in common. "They didn't know about each other," explains Joy Bisco (Marissa). "Basically, Casey grew up her way and Marissa grew up with her original family. That's how they became so totally different." Knowing a bit about grief himself, Jamal steers his new friend away from her troubles and helps her focus on the real reason she's in town. In the process, he discovers this sister is a lot more friendly. "I don't think he liked Casey -- she tried to kill him!" recalls Kiko Ellsworth (Jamal), chuckling. "So he definitely likes Marissa better." As Casey digs for info for her article, will she and Jamal end up writing a love story? "They end up with some kind of chemistry," hints Bisco. "Hopefully, that will lead somewhere."
