PORT CHARLES' Jamal seemed determined to destroy his life, but best buddy Jack proved his loyalty during the alleyway scene in which he refused to take a walk. Jamal insisted that his former life -- the one where he ran a business with Alison at his side -- was a total sham. He even told Jack their friendship was over! But, feeling a debt of gratitude for the way Jamal saved him from suicide during his stint as a vampire, Jack knew desperate measures were called for.
