I have a passion for movies and film, so it is only fitting that i dedicate a page to my favorites.  I pulled in the assistance of Michael A. Benedikter - Director, Actor, Producer and friend to write these reviews.
The
Godfather Trilogy
One of the finest examples of American cinema, the Godfather trilogy tells the story of the Corleone family and its involvement in the mafia. Under the leadership of Don Vito Corleone and later his son Michael, we see the complications of being a mafia family during the fifties, sixties and seventies.  Based Mario Puzos book of the same name. Part One is fantastic,  Part Two is just as good if not better, Part Three lacks something , but is still better then a lot of other films out there. Stars Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Robert Duvall, James Caan, Diane Keaton.

The
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Quick version: A small fella takes a dodgy ring to be destroyed in a volcano with the assistance of a multi-racial team of do-gooders. They traverse a deadly mine and an enchanted wood, pursued by bad guys and the rings previous owner. The team leader buys it, (making a comeback later) before the group splits over internal differences. Post schism, the little hero (and his best pal) makes for the lava, via a giant spiders lair. Meanwhile the others-one a hushed up king- rustle up some big old battles to distract their foe. The ring is dispatched flame wards. All is well. The end. You want the long version, then watch the movies. Stars Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen

... Kill Bill Volume 1.
A former hit woman, known only as The Bride is gunned down by her former employer Bill, and her fellow assassins, The Deadly Vipers. But she survives and coming out of a coma several years later, embarks on a mission of vengeance to kill her former associates and finally her former boss, Bill. Quentin Tarantinos latest film could quite possibly be the greatest revenge movie ever made. This film is a mash of spaghetti westerns, any revenge movie you can think of, and most importantly, the 70s kung-fu films of the Shaw Brothers. Violence is the name of the game here as The Bride, played by Uma Thurman goes on her mission of revenge. Over the top gore all over the place. Fantastic jolly fun. But dont ever take it seriously. Stars Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Darryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, and David Carradine.
The world of Tarrentino fans are eagerly waiting for the next installment of this brilliant film.  Review to that will be available here at the earliest possible moment
