Russet is the type of person everyone wants to be their friend. She's quiet, kind, and not exactly hard on the eyes, at least according to some of her rookery brothers! She seems perfect, and has magical healing powers to boot. However, no one is perfect. it is not that she has no fauts or nasty qualities, she just bottles them up inside, so when she finally needs to blow off steam, she explodes, and things frequently get broken. Her best friends accept this. Such friends are Isobela, Raoul, Slate, and her best friend since they were hatchlings, Azul.
*Note: Some gargoyles, including Russet, have English names, due to the missionaries teaching English to the clan. Eventually, the people ran out of Spanish names, and as it is not the clan's way to repeat names, they went on to English names.
