Tori's little girl, Lina was born when her mother was only 19. Her dad walked out on them when she was three, so her mother took Lina and moved to Manhattan and in with Tori's older sister Val. As Tori is either at school or working (See Tori's bio), Valerie usually cares for the young girl. She is very close to Val and Valerie's gargoyle and human friends in the Eyrie Building, especially Hudson among the gargoyles and Owen among the humans. This fondness for the majordomo leads her to attempting to match him up with her aunt. Apparently she thinks he would make a perfect uncle. When she is at the Building on a weekend, she takes to lugging Alexander up and down the halls.
Lina's match-making tendencies only stretch toward her aunt, and as her mother becomes more "friendly" with Matt Bluestone, Lina feels jealous and neglected, and resents the detective for that. Her feelings are more complex then those found in most preschoolers, and she only shares them with Valerie and Owen occasionally. Sometimes Lina frightens Val with her worldy atmosphere and tired knowledge. But then Lina begins to act like just another sweet four-year-old, and everything is alright.
