-------[ 1. Disclaimer ]--------------------------------------------------------

QS is provided AS IS. So, as you may have read many other times, there's no
guarranty on data lost, computer malfunction, etc..

However, as you can read in [2. What is QS?], QS does very few things and does
not interoperate with other programs (only with the OS), so it's very dificult
to QS to damage anything anyway.

-------[ 2. What is QS? ]-------------------------------------------------------

QS is a tiny program that searches on the "Favorites" directory for a string in
the name of the Internet's shortcut files.

I've done it because the fact that, altought maintaining a structured and
kindly sorted favorites, it's lots faster to search for a favorite than
navigating the long structured favorites tree.

If you have hundreds of favorites, and usually use it most, try QS!

-------[ 3. What is not? ]------------------------------------------------------

QS is not a websearch engine, portal, spider, program, etc...
QS is not a favorites manager. You manage your favorites and QS just search.
QS is not a database of your favorites. No files nor registry keys are created.
QS is not a virus, not a trojan, not a worm, not a backdoor.

QS doesn't search in the "META" of the HTML pointed by the Internet's shortcut.

-------[ 4. How to install? ]---------------------------------------------------

Unzip and run. No installation required.
QS does not create extra files, nor configuration files, nor registry keys.

You must have VB6.0 runtime libraries. (msvbvm60.dll)

-------[ 5. How it works? ]-----------------------------------------------------

QS is a text box where you type any string you want. When you hit <Enter>, QS
searches in your favorites folder for any file wich contains that string.

Note that the file will "contain" and not "begin with" the string. So, for a
string like "new" any of the following are correct:
"www.thenews.com", "newswired.com", "The new stores", "wahtelsenewyoucanimagine"

If only one file with the string is found, then your favorite is launched in
your browser.

If more than one is found, then a sorted dropdown combo with all the files is
shown. You can move between them with <up> and <down> keys, or <Alt+down> to
see the full combo, and hit <Enter> when you have found the right shortcut. Then
the shortcut is launched in your browser.

If you don't want to launch the browser with any of the files in the combo, you
can hit <Esc> to return to the search text box.

Hitting <Esc> from the text box will exit QS.

-------[ 6. Known bugs ]--------------------------------------------------------

Still none. But I expect you to found something going wrong... :-)
