Recent games I've been to at Safeco Field..

   My friend took me to a game on August 1st, 2000 against Boston. The game was 19 innings long and it went to like 1:30 in the morning until Mike Cameron finally fouled off 7 pitches then hit a home run. That is why he's my hero. Lol!! That day they Mariners were down by 4 runs, scored 4 and then there was a whole bunch of scorless innings until the bottom of the 19th. Me and my friend had a sign that said "We Love Arod" and we were down by the dugout and we were screaming at Arod and he looked at us :-) and we got on the Jumbo Screen. It was cool.

   The Second game I went to was on April 18, 2001 against Texas. The Mariners lost 8-6 :-( I was so ashamed that they could lose to Texas. It was fun though. Before the game Arod almost gave me a ball but no, he decided to be selfish and give it to the TEXAS fan beside me. Arod got booed so much, they threw monopoly money at him and I kinda felt bad but then I thought about what he did and I realized that he deserved it. Dan Wilson just missed a grand slam, it hit off the yellow strip at the top of the wall. And I was mad, I consider it a grand slam because I just like to think that.

Recently, I went to a game on August 30th, 2003 against Baltimore. The night before, the M's had broken their long losing streak. They came out and had the bats going. Baltimore got out to an early lead, but the M's quickly came back, and had a 5th inning that lasted 34 minutes, scoring 10 runs. It was awesome. I thought that inning would never end. The final score was 13-1.. and I especially enjoyed being waited on by the Terrace Club waiters ;-)

   I then went to another game on September 27th, 2003. Unfortunately, this game had no meaning, as the M's had been knocked out of the playoff race. It was still a good game though, as they beat Oakland and Barry Zito 7-4. They scored most of their runs with 2 out, so it was fun to watch. And seeing Edgar before he may retire was something very special! :-)

*Note.. I'm still in the process of getting all my pictures from the games onto my new laptop, and I'm busy with school.. so I'll get them up Asap!
