He got ejected vs. Seattle in 2000 - he better not have been hitting our players!! Allowed just 2 home runs last year (Edgar Martinez and Chipper Jones). In the 2000 ALCS in game 5 vs. Seattle he gave up a 2-run single to Alex Rodriguez, then Edgar Martinez and John Olerud followed with back to back homeruns. He won game 4 of the World Series vs. the Mets. Jeff Nelson missed seven weeks of the 2002 season with bone chips in his elbow, which put a damper on his pitching ability. He held opposing batters to a .221 batting average. On September 27th, he made his 336th appearance as a Mariner, making him the all time leader in games pitched as a Mariner, breaking Mike Jacksons record. In 2001 he was named to the AL All Star team.
