He snapped that streak on Septermber 9th vs the Minnesota Twins.

Jamie re-signed with the Mariners in the offseason. He will be 40 years old this season, but shows no signs of slowing down. He had a great season last year, walking only 2 people per 9 innings. He had a lot of tough luck last year, losing some games 1-0. and giving up 1 or 2 hits. He also had a streak of 24 shutout innings over 4 games, including a complete game shutout against St. Louis. He threw 4 complete games last season, and has thrown 200+ innings over the past few seasons.

Jamie won 20 games in 2001, becoming the oldest person to ever win 20 games for the first time in their careers. He also came through in the post season for the Mariners every time they needed it.

Jamie Moyer lives in Indiana with his wife Karen and his kids, Dillon, Hutton (sons), Timoney and Duffy (daughters). He is a supporter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Leukemia foundation.
