His opponents batted just .187, which was second in the AL among relief pitchers. He also led all AL relievers with a 5.80 strikeout-to-walk ratio, walking 13 while striking out 81. After starting the 2001 season 8-0, he came back and won 10 games in 2002, which was his career high. Arthur held opposition scoreless in final eight outings of the year. He ended his season with an awesome 2.33 ERA. And of course, we all know about that incident in 2001 with the earrings and Omar Vizquel. That was my favourite Arthur Rhodes moment in 2001.. Lol!! Arthur lives in Baltimore with his wife Leah and his two daughters, Jade Ashlee and Faith Anabella. |
