| -Edgar Martinez hurt his neck sliding into 2nd base Saturday afternoon, and is expected to miss a couple days. -Eddie Guardado also had an xray taken for pain in his left knee. - The Sherrif aka Norm Charlton has decided to call it quits. After tearing his rotator cuff in 2001, he has tried to make a comeback, but suffered another injury in his arm this offseason, and decided to retire for a second time. -Rafael Soriano, who was experiencing arm pain, is expected to pitch in Sundays (March 7th) game. |

| Tickets for Mariners spring-training games can be ordered through Ticketmaster, on the Mariners Web site or in person at the Peoria Sports Complex box office. Tthey can also be bought at the Safeco Field box office and the following Mariners Team Store locations: Bellevue Square, Downtown at Westlake (corner 4th & Stewart), Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, Spokane, Bellingham, Capital Mall (Olympia) and Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. Prices: Club seats $23, infield box $18, outfield box $15, upper box $15, bleachers $10, berm (outfield lawn) $5 (A $1 surcharge will be added to each ticket by the City of Peoria to support ballpark expansion projects). Ticketmaster: Phone 480-784-4444, 206-628-0888. Peoria Sports Complex: Box-office number is 623-878-4337 or 800-409-1511, but tickets must be purchased at the box office, not over the phone. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Group sales: Available for most games with $1 off for groups of 20 or more and $2 off for groups of 250 or more.
