Unfortunatley Bret Boone failed to move onto the second round because for some gay reason Sammy Sosa got to move on! Jason Giambi belted 14 home runs in the first round. And everyone got to see Alex Rodriguez do bad and only hit 2 home runs.. because.. we all know he isn't a power hitter and Safeco field isn't a hitters park. Luis Gonzalez went on to win it, and surprisingly people actually cheered for Arod.. but I think it was because Mike Cameron told them to. It was really cute when Bret Boone was about to go up and Mike Cameron was chillin with him and he pulled on his ear, because Cammie and Boonie are the coolest!
