Appearance: Serena has medium length pink hair that flows freely down to her mid back. Right above her soft red eyes, she has bangs that lay right above her eyes. She stands at about 5'6 and weighs around 111lbs. She is pretty muscular, she learned to defend herself so therefore she built developed muscles. She has milky white skin and a glowing smile. She wears her hair down usually tied around the top with a light purple ribbon.
Clothing: She almost always can be found in a mid thigh length pink tanktop dress. Around her hips she ties a pink sash with gold lining, that pulls her dress up in the front a little bit. When she dances she'll wear a light purple sash around her shoulders. Around her wrists she wears pink and gold cloth that is scrunched up.
Personality: Serena has a very outgoing personality. She lived on the streets before she came to Hiketsu and in order to make money she had to be very outgoing, and attract people to watch her dance. She's also timid with men that she doesn't know, she's very leary of getting to know men. She often gives off the vibe that she is a snob, but she puts a wall and doesn't really let people get to know her, because she feels all people will eventually let her down.
History: Serena's parents met each other in the markets of Liaku. It was love at first site, since they met that day they were unseperable. After knowing each other for about 4 weeks they were married. Serena's father was a noble men. But he wasn't a very kind man, after he was married and they had their two daughters, he started beating his wife. In his position of autority he made many bad decisions that hurt many people, and that resulted in her father and mother being killed by rioters. So that left Serena and Kaori out on the streets. Serena tried her best to take care of her little sister, she would attract crowds on the streets and dance for money(think of a gypsy). But that still wasn't enough to take care of her and her sister. But one day while Serena was dancing she met a young man named Takao. He promiced Serena and her sister everything in the world. He clothed them, fed them, and gave them somewhere to sleep. But in time he also began beating Serena and her sister. Serena one day tryed to leave him, and he beat her almost to the point of death. But finally she got up the nerve again and left. This time for good. But that didn't stop him, he found where they were staying, and tryed to kill both of them, fortunatly Serena survied , but unfortunatly Kaori didn't. After that Serena learned to defend herself, and promiced that she would never let anyone like that in her life again. One night while she was wondering she stumbled upon some woman in the forest, it was almost as if this woman saw right through Serena and knew everything that had ever happened to her, this woman told her of a peaceful island named Hiketsu and asked her to go. Serena having nothing to lose, but everything to gain, accepeted and boarded the ship when the time came.
