88CM - Current 2003 production with modifications done by Hartblei.
Purchased through KievCamera. I think cameras from about mid to late-2002
have been like this.
Kiev 88M - Purchased from Alexander6x6 last year(?). Standard Kiev 88 screw
mount but with Hartblei MLU. Black metal shutter. The only odd thing about
this camera is that the tripod sockets have been replaced with 1/4" sockets
instead of the typical 3/8" sockets.
Kiev 688 - Originally purchased off of eBay with a different type of MLU.
It was broken upon arrival, so I sent it to Mike who then took it to
Hartblei. Nine months later it came back like this. The button-type MLU
was replaced with Hartblei's lever type of MLU. It's almost the same as my
88M, except that the mount is for P6 lenses, and the 'box' behind the
shutter release has black trim instead of silver.
