The mystery K-88 upgrade photos I send are
of a camera purchased during the last year off ebay. The camera was
advertised as a K-88CM, but the pictures show otherwise. I prefer not
to mention the seller (he promised me he would not continue to sell
these cameras as K-88CM's). However, camera was shipped from Ukraine,
and has number "001". So it might be the first one made by Mr. X. I
don't know. Anyway, by looking at the pictures on your site, the
mystery camera looks most like Kevin's 688. It has Hartblei style MLU
lever, and a cloth shutter.
