Why should I donate money to Kiev60SLR and How will my donation be used?

Kiev60SLR is a free to view website.

So far it has been kept a free ,  non-subscritption service but this may need to change in the future as the size of this site grows rapidly out of control.

To maintain our normal quality of service we will soon be forced into a payed website hosting solution as our current free web hosts service is now being streched to its limits.
Payed web hosting incurs fee's that are surpirsingly high , there will be domain name registration costs and other fee's as well , costs that we are simply unable to completely cary by ourselves.

Your donations are not used to pay salaries; we are just unpaid slaves, part-time volunteers that are not supported by camera dealers like other sites.

We depend entirely on the generosity of you, our readers, to help cover our operating expenses.
To the end user the internet seems to be "free" but in reality everything cost's - someone.
These costs are far higher than most internet users realise.

How do I donate money to Kiev60SLR?

At the bottom of this page, you are provided the opportunity to donate money to Kiev60SLR via the money transfering company PayPal.

Yes, since the Kiev60SLR Donation System accepts donations through PayPal, we are able to accept contributions from many different countries. PayPal will handle the currency conversion on your behalf. Additional information regarding currency conversion will be provided by PayPal after you have reached step 3 in the donation process.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

To the best of our knowledge, no. In the United States, donations are only tax-deductible when they are made to non-profit organizations that are permitted to provide tax exemptions by the government (such as 501(c)3 charities). Kiev60SLR is not registered as 501(c)3 charitie. If you live outside the United States and you believe this donation may be tax-deductible, please consult local tax laws and/or a tax attorney; to the best of our knowledge, donations to Kiev60SLR are not tax-deductible anywhere in the world.

What fees will be deducted from my donation?

Fees are assessed from each donation by PayPal (varying based on the specific nature of the donation, and any currency conversion that must occur) and are removed from the total amount that you enter.
You will recieve no extra fee or bill later.
