The Kenyans in East Texas website is actually an evolution of The Kenyan Students In Wiley College website. The reason we opted to change is because East Texas is a fairly compacted area hence instead of only representing the students in Wiley college, we decided to represent the entire Eastern Texas region. The Kenyan community in East Texas is not very large but the few that exist are always in touch regularly and keep in contact with one another hence the decision to voice their thought and feelings through this website via the internet in an already growing number of online communities.
