Traveling back along the sands of time, there was a home. One much like that of a castle, and yet smaller than what most would call such a thing. There lived that of a simple man, Lusiik Daikkah, who wanted nothing more than to feed that of his wife, Sibil, and his two sons, Theamor and Jonathan. Alas that would not be the case, for war broke out among the lands, the army swooping down like vultures, looking for prey as they destroyed the nearby homes and villages. Having nowhere else to go, the peasants packed what little belongings they had left and set foot for the Daikkah Estates.
The Daikkah family, hearing of these wars, sent word to a friend of the family, one they called Spellcarver. Having received word of his friends troubles he traveled long and hard to arrive upon the estates. Wishing to protect his friends, he worked day and night. The moon rose and fell many times as he placed wards around the home and lands, protecting those within it. Soon afterwards the lands filled with strangers, all quickly forming that of a family. They all felt in debt to the Daikkahs for taking them in and protecting them, thus they dubbed him King. Years later, the wars ended, families moved on, slowly rebuilding their homes and their crops, but always considering Lusiik as king. For what was once known as Daikkah Estates had turned in to what is now known as Kiest Kingdom.
Thousands of years later, the lands still within the Daikkahs family, it fell upon that of one of Lusiiks ancestors, the first-born , CrystalIce. Sitting with her sister Katrise one day, they were approached by that of one who called herself a knight, looking for a place to rest. Having a rather large home to themselves, for they had no family but their own, they offered her shelter from the cold, and in exchange she would help to maintain the safety of the lands. CrystalIce, not thinking of herself as that of a queen, for the family had long dispersed of the use of the royalty, was simply known as Crystal.
Before they knew what happened, the lands quickly filled once more with peasants looking for shelter, for war had once again broken out upon the lands of Kasuria. Crystal took them in willingly and offered them places to sleep. They quickly began to notice that Kiest was once again in need of homes, as the army again destroyed those of the peasants.
Before long Crystal married and found Ki`Est was filled to the limit, having no where else to plant crops or even to put another home, Crystal, having thought long and hard before making this choice, decided to move. Once again calling upon the family friend Spellcarver. Finding that of a larger kingdom, he quickly placed wards around it, protecting the family once again from attacks. Crystal and her husband, Mordred, moved the members quickly to the new kingdom. Crystal, being that of an earth mage, sealed the old one up within a mountain, being the only one with the key to open the mouth of it. The kingdom sat quietly, preserved and protected, impossible to locate within the center of the rock.
Over time things began to change. CrystalIce divorce her husband, and married one known as James Darkarma. At the wedding, Crystal became known as Sanguis Darkarma, after being changed in to a dragon by her newfound brother, Blaze Darkarma
No longer feeling her lands were safe upon the death of Spellcarver, she allowed her husband to destroy the lands, wishing to leave the royal status behind her. Many years later, having been told by her friends and family, what a great loss they feel upon the destruction of Ki`Est, she glances down to her wedding ring, then back to her husband. She smiles softly and nods. They make the journey to the mountain..
*Update* Sanguis after a few years, became controlled by that of another, and abandoned her lands, leaving them sealed within the mountain. After a couple years, she returns to the surface, only to see her husband James Darkarma one time before he abanoned her and their children unknown to her, for another. Determined to find him, as well as return to the only place she ever felt peace and happiness, she ripped the mountain apart, removing the original Ki`Est from it's prison within the rocks and stones. Using those instead to form a valley around her kingdom, helping to keep those that wondered in once again safe from harm. The wards worked on by the now returned Spellcarver, Sanguis has returned home, hopefully this time for good.
