Q is for Quiet. This is what Mummy tells us to be when we are making too much noise in the rumpus room. Dave is usually the noisiest, he is always getting us into trouble :(
R is for Reading. I like to read, and Mummy says my reading is really improving. My favourite books include Burglar Bill, The Baby's Catalogue, Each Peach Pear Plum, Harry Potter, and Funny Bones.
S is for Sahara Hotnights. We had to tour with a BUNCH OF GIRLS because the record company made us. They actually expected us to take a group of GIRLS seriously! As if girls can play instruments!
S is for Seaside. Mummy and Daddy took me and the other boys to Brighton last summer, and it was great! Tom threw up cos he had eaten too much candy floss, and Dan started crying when we tried to bury him in the sand! Daddy bought me a new bucket and spade set, it was purple, the other boys were so jealous. Dave and Ben liked the donkey rides on the beach, and Jon was too scared to go on the ghost train, what a GIRL!!
S is for Sex. What is this? Mummy says she will tell me when I am 25. I found some special balloons in Mummys drawer once, and I put one on my head. Mummy walked in and was so angry that she grounded me for a month.
S is for Star Wars. We love it!! We all have lightsabers, and we love battling. Darth Vader is so scary! I still cant watch Star Wars without cowering behind the sofa. Its so unfair, Tom always gets to be Vader when we play it! Dave is Han, Ben is Luke, Fish is Chewbacca, and Jon is Yoda. He likes to think we let him be Yoda cos he is older and cleverer than us, really it's just cos he is the same height!! They always make me be Leia, they say "Kieran, next time we play, you can be Luke", and then they make me be Leia again! They never play fair, I'm going to tell Mummy :(
T is for Tambourine. We smash these during our concerts. Ben won't let me smash them very often, cos he knows I am better at it than he is and he doesn't want anyone to find out! Once Ben smashed my special Monkey Tambourine that Dan bought for me last Christmas from Early Leaning Centre. The show had to be cut short as I was crying so much I just couldn't carry on. Luckily Mummy was backstage to make me some hot chocolate and calm me down :)
T is for Tom. He is our guitarist. He walks around with his pants on show. His mummy tells him to cover them up, but he is just so rebellious. He has issues with closing his mouth, and Mummy says: It will stay like that if the wind changes. Sometimes he looks just like our goldfish Julian.
T is for Top of The Pops. Our single Film Maker/Been Training Dogs got to number 20!! It was such an honour to be on Top of The Pops. We watch it every week, and then there we were, drinking Fanta in the Star Bar. It was naughty of me to have a fizzy drink, Mummy says theyll rot my teeth, so Im not allowed to. Plus fizzy drinks make us a bit giddy!!
T is for Tour bus. We spend a lot of time on here. When we are not sleeping or playing a concert, we like to watch videos. Our favourites are Disney films. My favourite is Bambi, I always cry so much when his mummy dies :( The other boys laugh at me for this, but Mummy says I cant help being sensitive. She says I am in touch with my feminine side, whatever that means. They prefer action, and like to watch cartoons on Nickelodeon, Fox Kids, and Cartoon Network.
We are each allowed to have a picture in our bunk. I have a picture of Britney. She is so pretty, and can really sing. Tom and Dan have pictures of the girls they have crushes on. Dave has Pink, he likes dirty girls. Jon has a picture of Missy Elliott (he is into that whole rap scene, YO), and Ben has a picture of George Michael, who is his musical idol.
We have a No Girls rule on the tour bus. They try to steal our pants, and we don't want a bus full of cooties!
T is for Toys R Us. This is our favourite shop, we could spend whole days in here! We love trying out all the bikes, except we got thrown out last time we went because Dave broke a tricycle. The coin operated machines at the entrance are so much fun too, my favourite one is the Postman Pat one!! Once some little girls in there started laughing at us saying we were too old to be in there, and they made Dan cry.
U is for Underwear. My favourites are my Return Of The Jedi pants, which Mummy bought for me in 1983. They still fit!! The other boys like Spiderman, Mickey Mouse, and Action Man underwear. We all agree that matching vests and pants are very cool.
V is for V2002. We turned down the chance of playing this festival. We are playing the Carling festival, as we are all desperate to meet Dave Grohl, who is an idol of ours. I want him to sign my limited edition copy of Nirvanas Come As You Are (I got the last copy, HA, in your face Tom!) and we are hoping to get a photo of us with the drum god himself.
W is for Wokingham. This is where we are from, except common Dave, whos from Reading. Wokingham is good, there are playgrounds and youth clubs to have lots of fun in. The other boys are allowed into Obsessions nightclub, but Mummy wont let me go. She says alcohol is the work of the devil. The other boys spike my Ribena Toothkind with alcohol sometimes, to get me into trouble with Mummy. I have gone home tipsy on a few occasions, and she has sent me straight to bed.
X is for X-ray. I had to go to hospital to have an X-ray after Jon pushed me over in the playground. It turned out I had fractured my ankle, and Mummy was so cross with Jon. But she had a word with Jon's mummy, and she took away his Nintendo Gameboy for a fortnight.
X is for Xylophone. This was the first instrument that I learned to play. I still play it fairly often. Songs that I can play include Britneys "Oops, I Did It Again, Duran Durans Hungry Like The Wolf, and the Rugrats theme tune.
Y is for Yellow. This is my favourite colour. Mummy says I look so adorable in it. All my bibs are yellow. Ben usually spoon-feeds me, I am still mastering that difficult concept of feeding myself.
Z is for Zoo! We love going here. Whenever we get to a town, the first thing we look for is a zoo. Mummy and Daddy bought me a season ticket to London Zoo for my 22nd birthday. Ben likes the lions *RAAAAAAAAARGH*, and Jon likes elephants. Dave and Tom like the monkeys, they spend hours pulling faces at them! Dan likes the penguins, and the hyenas are my favourites :)
