Grandma

July 24, 2002

I have been terrible about keeping current with this page. I apoligize.

Today I want to take a moment to remember my grandma. She was the most wonderful lady I have ever met. I had the chance to know this gem for 18 years. I never will forget the way she signed... I Love You. I never will forget her voice, her laughter, her tears, her face. I dreamt about her last night. It was amazing to see her again, although a devestating dream, I can try to take something good out of it. Sometimes just hoping for a dream, needing to know she is still out there. Heaven opened its door on April 2, 1996. God smiled upon her, taking her pain. Causing us great anguish, as death always does. You never know how much you are truely loved, or missed until you are gone, and unable to really know. None of us, can truely understand the love we are given everyday. Some of us, feel as though we have never recieved the gift, but we have. God smiles upon all of us daily. His sun brightens our face. His rain, wets our hair. This very existance of our soul, is because of his love. I learned so much about God's love through my grandma. Although he took her hearing at the tender age of 5, she was blessed with sign language. She was blessed with a daughter, who loved her no matter what. She had two grand daughters who thought the world of her. Whom loved to vist her every weekend. Whom wish they had more time with her. One day, another time and place we will have all the time we want. Thank you for this gift of love Lord. Thank you for my grandma.
