| Nap Time We have a quiet time each day in our day care for children 6 years old and younger. Children are encouraged to bring their own blanket and small pillow for quiet time, their blanket and pillow can be stored here and will be washed once a week or more frequently if needed. Quiet/nap time will be after lunch and for no more than two hours ending by 2p.m. at the latest...with the exception of the infants which will set their own nap schedule. Overtime Ther will be a $5 per quarter hour late charge, for those pickups past closing time. Toy room clock will be used to determine time. Personal belongings This day care cannot be responsible for any items brought from home. All children's belongings should be labeled with their name. Toy weapons are not to be brought to day care at any time. If you wish for your child to brush their teeth after lunch which is encouraged please provide a tooth brush with a cap to be kept at day care. Pets We have four cats that come and go as they please (they will probably be out and about during the day when children are here) and two friendly dogs (a shelty and a mid sized mixed breed sweetheart) That may spend supervised time with the children during the day. Children and adults encountering any of our pets are asked to please treat them with kindness so they will always be glad to see you and your children. Safety My child care home is set up with the safety of children in mind. We are child proff and every room the children will ahve access to will be maintained in that manner. Supplies You are responsible for providing diapers, wet wipes, formula, baby food and infant cerial. Once your child is on table food I will provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. you are encouraged to bring a blanket and pillow (for children over the age of two) for nap/quiet time. Termination A two week notice is required in the event you wish to terminate this child care contract. This facility reserves the right to terminate child care at any time without prior notice, every effort will be made never to do this. Toilet training When a parent and provider feel a child shows readiness for toilet training, I will assist parents in the toilet training of their child. During toilet training parents need to bring 6 complete changes of clothing every day, including socks. I will not force children to sit on the toilet and will only use positive encouragement's in order to promote toileting. I believe children will show interest in toilet training when they are ready, they should not be rushed this could be as late as age three and a half. Please remember this can be a frustrating time for everyone, please be patient as with every skill toileting takes practice.
