| > THE ROCK < This rock is located in the center of our playground and is the meeting place for secret games and special plans amongst the students. I use the rock as the emergency meeting place during fire drills. March 20, 2005 it was surrounded by mud! |

| Our playground is located in a low area north of the parking lot. This makes for a lot of water and mud in the Spring. It also proves to be quite a challenge for those that want to slosh through it without my watchful eyes being aware of it. I recently attended a training seminar by Play Fit Education. I plan on incorporating the multiple smaller group games for both inside and outside recess into my recess program. |
| ~ Choices ~ Students are continually reminded to make good choices. This student demonstrated for me what a "bad choice" would be. Students know that when bad choices are made, the consequences vary from a warning, time out or our Responsible Thinking Classroom program. |
