Who Am I?

I come from an Argentinean family who moved to the United States in 1981 to get a kidney transplant for my sister. Although my parents planned to move back to Argentina, by the time the kidney game in 1987, I was born and they decided to stay in the United States.
I attended California State University, Long Beach for my first semester in college. At the same time my sister lost the aforementioned kidney and to help out my parents I transferred to California State University, Northridge. I declared my major shortly thereafter in Journalism with an emphasis in Magazines. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in January 2007.
While getting my B.A. I worked at a department store and then obtained a job at Haskell Elementary School in Granada Hills. I worked at Haskell for 3 years. After finishing my Teaching Credential I began working as a Substitute Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I do most of my subbing at Limerick Elementary School.
Teaching Philosophy

I believe that every child has the ability to learn and conquer all that is placed before them in life. It is our duty, as adults, parents, teachings, and members of the community to help them get there.
In order to do this we must provide them a safe and clean environment where they feel comfortable and where their minds can be open to the ideas that are presented to them. We offer them schools for this and as teachers it is our responsibility to ensure their education is taken to where it needs to be.
We must inspire, encourage and guide our children to learn so that their future is better than the one we have lived.
