DOES YOUR CHILD EVER ASK, "MOMMY, WHY CAN'T I BE NORMAL?" Does your child have a hard time making friends, do they feel like an outcast? Are they labeled a bully? ARE YOU, AS THE PARENT, LEFT FEELING HELPLESS? If so, then they, and you are not alone! There are many children and parents who feel the same way for many reasons. Maybe it's because of a physical or learning disability, or maybe they are just a little overweight. These children are made to feel as though something is wrong with them, when in fact they really are "normal". As parents we feel helpless because we want to kiss and hug the hurt away. As we find out, this is not an easy thing to do, and the people who are suppose to understand and be supportive of our children (teachers, councelors, etc.), really don't always understand how we or our children feel. If this sounds like you or your child, please, take a look around. This site is designed for you; a place to find friends and people who have "been there".
