I have been meaning to write in my journal for 2 weeks now...time is flying :) We had an amazing trip to Guatemala from March 1 - March 4th. John handled the trip incredibly well...very anxious at first but once meeting David, he settled right down. David came running for a hug when he arrived at Telma's and our visit went super. With Rick's mom (Mimi) there to help, we were still very very busy with the two boys but we had it mostly under control. John and David did very well together and there were lots of giggles and a few snuggles and some tackling!!! John put on his "big brother" hat immediately and although it was challenging at times for him to communicate with David, he tried his best with several important Spanish words like "un momento David", "Cuidado", "Mira", and a few others :).

We had a super outing to Antigua with Jose and we hosted an action packed birthday party with the largest pinata that may have ever existed (IN the U.S. anyway). John was blown away by it and David seemed pretty pleased too :)

It was terribly hard to leave David this time (actually his foster Mom and our translator came to pick him up before we left). David didn't want to go and we all got through the goodbyes but it wasn't easy for any of us. BUT, we will be going back to bring him home soon and forever.!!!

We got out of PGN on 3/17/06 and I heard today that our attorney will be submitting for PINK at the Embassy on Wednesday (3/29). We could be traveling in 10-15 days!!!! Oh my gosh...I've got a lot to do between now and then!!!!!

I've posted new photos from our trip and I have an amazing poem that I'm going to put on the site in a minute. We are ALMOST through this process....hard to believe!!! I can't wait to have my 3 boys together!!!!
