Tuesday, January 10th -
Bill, Donna, Bradley and Tyler MOVE IN. They are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!
After kids are in bed, Rick and I go to the Airport Sheraton for the night.
Wednesday, January 11th-
We fly on Delta to Atlanta at 6 AM! We have a few hour layover then straight to Guatemala City. We arrive ~ 2:30 pm
We are trying to coordinate a visit to meet Emiliana, our sponsored child through CCI. If we can, we will go right from the airport to her orphanage. Then, we will go to Telma's House and get a good night's sleep (I hope!)
Thursday, January 12th-
Ilse brings Franklin and his foster mother to Telma's House between 9 and 10 AM. We will have breakfast together and I'm hoping they will stay for some of the day. Everyone that has met Franklin tells me that he will be very shy at first...this is his personality. My only hope for this trip is that Franklin likes us....that he starts to trust us. It is the very beginning for all of us. I know it will be scary.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday - We will have Franklin with us until right before we leave on Saturday. Our flight leaves Guatemala at 2:30 pm. We arrive in Connecticut at mid-night.
Saturday night. We collapse at home and look forward to John and Ian pouncing on us in the morning. We will miss them!
