Chiriko is an extremely intelligent little boy and the seventh of the Suzaku Seishi to appear. He was studying to be a government official in the court of Konan Country when he saw disaster written in the Suzaku stars of the sky. Fearing for Suzaku No Miko and the Seishi, Chiriko instantly headed for the palace in Konan. He was just in time to save Miaka and her friends from Seiryuu Seishi Amiboshi, who had been sent by Kutou Country as a spy.
