As defined by the Kids' Cabret by-laws, ex-officios of Kids Cabaret are any ex-trustees of the corporation who have resigned from their post or passed their twenty-second birthday, any former Directors or Producers of the organization during its unincorporated period, and any persons who the majority of acting trustees shall deem to be ex-officios. Ex-officios shall be granted the rights and privledges granted to them in the Kids' Cabaret by-laws.
Audition and Non-Discrimination Policy Kids' Cabaret Articles of Organization, Article Two, Paragraph Two - "Auditions to perform in the musical or any production of the Corporation are open to any children ages eight (8) through sixteen (16) who are able to attend rehearsals and performances, typically held in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Anyone under age twenty-two (22) and over age eight (8) may join the staff of the Corporation at the discretion of its Trustees. The Trustees of the Corporation may not in their audition or staff selection process discriminate based on sex, race, religion, socio-economic condition, handicap, or sexual orientation, but must base their decisions solely upon each individuals age, theatrical skill or experience, and ability to work on the production of a full length musical."
Kids' Cabaret was formally incorporated on December 28, 2000 in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As an IRS recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, donations to Kids' Cabaret are tax deductible on a quid pro quo basis with receipt from the Trustees of Kids' Cabaret. Under provisions of law, our articles of incorporation and by-laws are available upon written request sent to The Trustees of Kids' Cabaret at the above address. Materials on this website, including the name "Kids' Cabaret", and the Kids' Cabaret name and trademark are the property of the Trustees of this organization. These materials may only be used with the expressed written consent of the trustees. Any trustee of the organization, if empowered by the majority of the board, may act in the name of the Kids' Cabaret corporation.
