In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth had no shape, nor life. It was completely empty. The Spirit of God moved across the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light", and suddenly there was light all around. So God divided the light from the darkness and He called the light Day and the darkness He called Night. And with that, God created the first day.
On the second day, God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters", and suddenly there was water below, and water above; with a great expanse of air in between. And God called the firmament Heaven, or the sky. And so ended the second day.
On the third day, God caused the dry land to appear, and caused the oceans to gather. He also caused all plants to grow and produce seeds so that they could multiply. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters He called Seas; and so ended the third day.
On the fourth day, God created the Sun to rule the day, and the Moon to rule the night. He also created all the stars in the sky to give light upon the whole earth; and so ended the fourth day.
On the fifth day, God created all the creatures of the sea. He also created all the birds of the air. Then, He blessed them and said, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters of the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth". And so ended the fifth day.
Then, on the sixth day, God created all the creatures on dry land. He created cats and dogs, mice, elephants, horses, zebras, deer, and even dinosaurs! After all of this, God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness". He created man from the dust of the ground, and breathed life into his nostrils, and man became a living soul. And God gave man control of the whole earth.
On the seventh day, God rested from His labors; and He looked upon all that He had created and He saw that it was good. He was very pleased with all that He had created, and He blessed the whole earth.
God called the man Adam; and he created a great garden called Eden for Adam to live in. And Adam named all the creatures that God had created. But God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone, I will make an help meet for him". And God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep, and he took one of Adam's ribs; and from it he created a woman and brought her to Adam. Adam named her Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
And this is the true account of how God created the heavens and the earth, along with all the plants, fish, birds, animals, stars, planets, and everything in only six days, and only by His own Words.
